I was born in England to an English mother and American father. Together with my two older brothers, I grew up in the heart of the Essex countryside.
We were fortunate enough to be able to travel and during my youth I enjoyed the sights and sounds of Europe, Africa, America and Canada. Here I collected many memories that I stored in my mind for characters and places in future books. I also enjoyed many happy summer vacations at my Grandparents motel in the Catskill mountains.
Also being a family of readers, we usually had a nose in a book and this trait I have passed on to my two daughters.
I run a small cleaning busy where I meet new people daily. I have to be honest when I say that I like to look out for new characters for my books all the time, so if you ever meet me be on the look out for a very familiar character in a future book!
My family and I now reside in sunny Florida where each day I am grateful for the wonderful scenery, animals and friendly people.
I enjoy meeting new people and attend booksignings whenever I can.
